Controversial Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has given his social-media followers another jaw-dropping glimpse into his extraordinary lifestyle — this time revealing that Kenyan President William Ruto personally drove him to his helicopter.
Chivayo posted a selfie video showing himself sitting in the passenger seat while Ruto was behind the wheel.
And according to the flamboyant businessman, the unusual presidential ride happened after he attended the engagement party of Ruto’s daughter.
Chivayo said he had left his helicopter at a nearby helipad when Ruto offered to personally drive him the short distance to where the aircraft was waiting.
“President William Ruto offered to drive and drop me 3km to the helipad where I had left my helicopter,” Chivayo wrote.
The businessman appeared stunned by the gesture, joking that the experience had convinced him of his own royal status.
“Now I believe royal blood indeed flows through my veins,” he declared.
He also heaped praise on Ruto, describing the Kenyan leader’s gesture as evidence of “unmatched humility”.

The sight of a sitting president behind the wheel, with a high-profile Zimbabwean businessman sitting beside him, is unlikely to be an everyday occurrence.
