President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s daughter-in-law, Kelsea Tafirenyika, has been granted US$1,000 bail by the High Court pending trial on drug-related charges.
Tafirenyika is facing charges of unlawful possession of pethidine for the purpose of dealing, as well as unlawful possession of unregistered medicines.
The High Court’s decision allows her to remain out of custody pending the finalisation of the case.
Tafirenyika was represented by a legal team comprising lawyers Admire Rubaya, Advocate Sylvester Hashiti and Malvern Mapako.
