English Premier League side, Nottingham Forest are in advanced negotiations with Wolverhampton Wanderers over a potential transfer for Warriors vice‑captain Marshall Munetsi.
The 29‑year‑old returned to Wolves after a loan spell at Paris FC in the second half of last season. Forest have reportedly stepped up their pursuit after Paris FC cooled their interest in a permanent deal. Transfermarkt currently values Munetsi at €15m ($17.3m).
A move to the City Ground would keep him in the Premier League following Wolves’ relegation to the Championship. No agreement between the clubs has been announced, but talks are understood to be progressing.
Munetsi joined Paris FC on loan in January after struggling for regular game time at Wolves. He made 16 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring four goals and providing two assists, helping Paris FC move clear of relegation trouble and finish mid‑table.
Paris FC reportedly eyed retaining Munetsi, but the €15m price tag proved prohibitive for the French club, opening the door for interest from Forest.
