A couple was found dead in their matrimonial bedroom in Glen View 3, Harare, on Wednesday morning, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
The husband, Nyasha Mhungu and his 30-year-old wife Olga Muzhingi, were found deceased inside their home.
Mhungu was reportedly a leader at a local church.

According to reports, the couple had been experiencing domestic misunderstandings for some time, although it was not immediately clear whether this was linked to their deaths.
Reports from the scene indicate that bottles containing a suspected poisonous substance were also found inside the house.
The wife was reportedly found naked, while Mhungu was found fully dressed.
Police confirmed the incident in a statement: “The ZRP is investigating the circumstances in which a couple, Nyasha Mhungu (35) and his wife, Olga Muzhingi (30) were found dead in a bedroom at a house in Glen View 3, Harare after a marital dispute on 23rd September 2026. More details to follow.”
The incident comes at a time when the nation is still grappling with the Dzivarasekwa tragedy in which 42-year-old Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission commissioner and Midlands State University lecturer Dr Martin Muduva was allegedly axed by his wife, Lyliosa Chirara, 43, who later died after reportedly consuming poison.
The incident continues to raise concerns over violence within marriages and the need for greater attention to domestic disputes.

Developing story…
