Argentina and Spain will contest the FIFA World Cup 2026 final after both football powerhouses emerged victorious in their semi-final clashes, setting up a blockbuster showdown on Sunday.

Defending champions Argentina secured their place in the decider after a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory over England. England took the lead in the second half through Anthony Gordon before Argentina fought back late in the match. Enzo Fernández equalised in the 85th minute, and substitute Lautaro Martínez struck the winning goal in stoppage time following an assist from Lionel Messi.
